Introduction to Aerodynamics
This course will introduce the student to some of the theoretical aspects of aerodynamics, but it is meant primarily as a primer on how airplanes travel through the air. After an overview of some basic concepts in applied sciences such as mathematics and physics, we'll look at the shape and size of an airplane wing. We'll also examine some different ways of controlling an airplane's flight path: trim tabs, spoilers, flaps and slats.
